The Project

Connection for a Cause was the community service project created and delivered by the Leadership Gilroy Class of 2025 as part of their year-long Leadership Gilroy program. The class chose to organize Gilroy’s first Autism Resource Fair to bring people together, share information, and support local families and individuals affected by autism. The event connected community members with resources, raised awareness about autism acceptance, and provided opportunities for attendees to learn about local programs and services. Connection for a Cause reflects the cohorts commitment to serving the Gilroy community and applying their leadership skills to make a positive , inclusive impact.
