Janet Krulee
Treasurer
Janet (Headley) Krulee is a 4th generation born and raised Gilroyan and comes from a very involved extended Gilroy family. Needless to say, she loves this town! Even though we have grown, she loves the fact that we still know how to come together as a community and show our Gilroy pride. Together with her husband Jason, they own and operate Take It For Granite and in her spare time she loves to read, spend time with her kids and dogs, travel, and laugh with friends and family. She is an alumnus of both Gavilan College and San Jose State University. Her passion for most of her life has been helping others and striving to make her community a great place to live. This year she steps into the Treasurer role and is so proud to represent the changes and revitalization of the Leadership Gilroy program. “I see our program as a very important part of engaging and educating our future community and civic leaders,” she says, “Gilroy needs it’s citizens to get involved and Leadership Gilroy is a gateway to learning about our very diverse and plentiful options to do just that!” Education, and equality in our education system, is another thing that definitely tugs at her core so Leadership Gilroy is very near and dear to her heart.
“I am excited and look forward to bringing the Leadership Gilroy program back to the forefront of the community and can’t wait to work with our new group of future Leaders!”
