Manny Bhandal is an individual whose journey weaves together community leadership, and a commitment to the vibrant city of Gilroy.  

Manny moved to Gilroy in 2007, and since then, he has not only witnessed but actively contributed to the growth and well-being of the community. Graduating from San Jose State University in 2008 with a degree in Finance laid the foundation for his professional journey. As a testament to his commitment to personal and professional development, Manny was a distinguished member of the Leadership Class of 2022 (Veterans Hall Flag Pole and Kitchen Renovation).

On the personal front, Manny is married and blessed with five children. His family serves as a constant source of inspiration, driving his efforts to create a thriving and welcoming environment not only for his loved ones but for the entire Gilroy community. 

Manny currently serves as the Chair of the Gilroy Planning Commission. Simultaneously, he holds the position of Chair of the Board of Directors for the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, exemplifying his dedication to fostering a robust business environment and supporting local enterprises.
