Selina Armendariz

Board Member

Selina Armendariz was born and raised in Gilroy. She was a member of the Leadership Class of 2025 (Connection for a Cause).

Her deep love for her community and dedication to servant leadership reflect the example set by her parents, laying a strong foundation of values that she now seeks to develop in her own children.

Selina has been with the Gilroy Police Department since 2017. Her role with the department has allowed her to assist in coordinating National Night Out and Women in Law Enforcement Day. She is also a current member of Gilroy Police Department’s CISD & Wellness Team.

When Selina isn’t volunteering at her children’s school, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three sons. Attending the boys’ flag football, baseball and track & field events, sports is a big part of their family life.

Selina is excited to join the Leadership board and bring her knowledge and experience. She  believes leadership is about impact, not rank; true leadership comes from action, integrity, and the ability to support and motivate others.
